Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I think people at the DMV really hate their jobs. A few weeks ago, I lost my wallet and thus had to get replacement cards for everything including my driver’s license. So I get there on the 23rd or something, expecting many high schoolers to be there taking driving tests and whatnot. But surprisingly, it was relatively empty.
The guy who attended me was a nice guy, jokingly saying that I could not get a replacement because there were no such thing. I laugh and say, Oh no! just playing along. When asked if I wanted to retake my picture, I say yes right away ‘cause as anybody who’s seen it knows, I hated it. A lot.
So I go over to the picture guy, and he grumpily takes my papers and tells to where to stand. Then, he tells me to look straight ahead. Only thing is… the camera is about 2 feet above “straight ahead.” So I wanted to ask where I’m supposed to look, when he takes the picture and my face is like ( ‘o’ ). He promptly tells me not to make that face and tells me again to look straight ahead with an exasperated sigh. So I do. And guess where I’m looking in my license picture. Betch.
